  • Vicky’s Place is the dream of Vicky Pour; Liberian immigrant who found the joys of cooking at an early age, and decided to follow her dream of establishing her very own restaurant.

    After many years of planning and working in other industries; the dream, though suffering many hurdles, was born.

    Vicky is a professional gourmet chef, proficient in the preparation of African, American and several other foods.

    Before the opening of her restaurant in Brooklyn Park, she catered weddings, meetings and private contracts for people wanting the taste of her very good cooking.

    With Vicky’s Place now open, you don’t have to go far to find that taste that has eluded you for years.

    Vicky discovered the formula, and you can now come and take part in the festivities at her place.
